Obverse from about 2:00 to 6:00, strongest at RIC. Also slightly toned on reverse at 5:00.

It is so hard to find colorful toned copper nickels, and yours does have some pretty toning. Nice coin!

And a die crack at 6 oclock of the reverse

Due to the residue in some of the nooks & cranies of obverse (denticles, denomination, 3rd & 4th feather tip,
under the ribbon) the possibility exists it was played with, accounting for the toning

It's in an old ANACS 62 holder, and the grade probably reflects those little blue spots. I'd like to go after them with a rose thorn, but I'm going to refrain. It's been in the holder for about 20 years, and it's probably best to leave well enough alone.

A soak in acetone might help.
