    Interesting.

Anybody ever notice the tendency for PCGS to post strong toners on the PCGS COINFACTS Site?

When ever a toner is available, it gets posted as an example of the coin.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

I think they post the top 3 coins... toned or blast white. I don't think they have a large inventory of photos and are using what comes in for grading.

Purely coincidental, although a coin with great eye appeal is more likely to be imaged.

Correct except that for many coins we have more than three images, sometimes many more. Click on the "View All Images" link.

    Not always. image

Though I must admit the expertise of the photographer can add a lot to the image of a nicely toned coin.

This coin is far tougher and it's a 64:
