If i cracked 100 of these and sent them to PSA, approximately how many would grade psa gem mint 10? my question is are SGC 98's worth cracking?

    Uggg....don't get me started!! I had horrible luck just cracking out an SGC '3'!!!!!!!

    Now where have I heard that before...LOL.

    Not worth cracking out IMHO. Especially after Bobby's experience.

    Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.

    That would depend on how many of the SGC 98's came from PSA 9 crackouts that wouldn't cross to PSA 10.

    I would guess about the same number of PSA 10's that you would crack out and submit to SGC for 98's

    I've only done it once, and got a successful cross.

    I've cracked out 16 SGC 98s so far over 4 years - 2 came back PSA 10, 12 PSA 9, 2 worse than PSA 9.

    That would depend on how many of the SGC 98's came from PSA 9 crackouts that wouldn't cross to PSA 10. >>



    Better response is since grading is subjective is how many would actually come back as Psa 10's if all 100 were Psa 10's to begin with.
    If you cover the flip of a 9 or 10 from either company, I bet it would be tough to pick the 9 or 10.
