5oz ATB Bullion Question

I have been wanting to add these to my retirement. It will be fun to have these in a collection, especially if they can be in my retirement profile. I know the government allows bullion coins to be purchased with IRA, but how is this done and to the ATB coins count or is it just the gold/silver eagle coins that count?
