Fake PCGS slabs on eBay?

The seller pkkmgbr from Mari, Germany presently has five French-Indo China coins listed on eBay. Neither the PCGS coin numbers nor the PCGS certification ID numbers are in the PCGS database. Is there some logical reason for this?

<< <i>Hardly, this is a well known German dealer, Philip Kapaan, and these were just graded in Paris. They seem to be slow with adding Paris graded coins to the pop report. You may also have noticed that he has a lot of PCGS graded coins on ebay.

Agreed, and I've had good experiences buying from him in the past.
<< <i>All of the these five eBay listed French Indo Chinese coins have USA PCGS coin numbers already. Why use different numbers in Paris? If these are indeed new valid PCGS coin numbers, hopefully PCGS will consolidate the two coin numbers in the population reports. >>
I didn't say anything about different PCGS numbers. I said they are slow in posting PCGS coins that were graded in Paris. These were graded last week. Reread my post. I know nothing of PCGS numbers for French Indo China, since I don't collect this area.

From what rumors have it, they have made a deal with someone in the US. apparently the deal is that the US partner will attempt to purchase interesting German coins for them, while Kapaan is trolling for US coins in Germany. they then have the coins certified en mass, get a good price and sell them, making a killing. (BTW, apparently Heritage is doing the same with Kuenker, so rumor has it. Hence a cooperation called: Kuenker-Heritage popping up on some auctions.)
Kapaan's reputation is that of a sharp, but factual business who does not knowingly leave any money on the table. I have dealt with them several times over the years and only had one issue which was resolved.
