Can someone identify this coin......I think its Chinese?

Not mine, it belongs to a customer of mine and she wants to know what it is and its value?
Value??........to me I don't think much but I have been wrong to many times that I care to remember

Its copper and the size of a Morgan dollar

Yeppers. It is a Chinese 10 cash copper piece, but appears to be very worn and thus, has no value, whatsoever. Sorry. -Dan

Oh no, it is not a 10 cash, I can read 50 cash on it - which would explain why it is such a large copper coin.

I believe it might be Honan/Hunan province. It might be from the third year of the republic, ie 1914-5.

I might add that some of these coppers have a premium, depending on the province or variety, but this one would be limited because of the condition, no matter what. These are found in really great condition. I can show you several examples, which I have in my collection that are AU. I will say that it has seen lots of circulation, which is romantic in a sense! I think it's Szechuan, definitely 50 cash, can't tell date (it'd be on the lower pic's side) - should be this coin but the new Krause/ATS deal still lacks pics. Anyhow, it looks brass.
