So I gave in to the 2011 Bowman hype and bought the last 11 packs at Target.....

I always like looking at the Bowman threads every year but I just can't fathom paying that much for modern carp, but every now and then I'll buy a blaster or two just to look at the cards. I was at Target today and they didn't have any blasters but had a box of individual packs so I bought the last 11 that were in the box. Got these 2 base Harper's.....
and then in the next to last pack....
By far the best hit I've ever gotten in my limited modern purchases. Looks like the redemption cards themselves are going for $400-$600 on ebay.

lol, yes, it will be on ebay or the BST board shortly. I'm not a modern collector at all.

yeah, I've been pretty lucky lately. The seven '72 OPC packs I just opened from the group rip were duds though for the most part except a couple gradeable commons and some off center stars. The '79 OPC box I bought was pretty good though, lots of gradeable stars and commons.

got 1, it's a good bit off center. Probably a 6 or 8 OC.

I made a scan, but is there any way someone could get the code off of a scan? Obviously it's unscratched but I'm not a modern expert. This is actually a question I need the answer to before I put it on ebay. I see that some of them have the scan of the back so I assume it's safe, but better safe than sorry.

lol, yeah. I knew I'd get this from someone. Just didn't know if there was any other way to decipher the code other than scratching it off.
yes, I'm going out tonight to Target to see if they have any.
