Well-Disguised Shilling?

Lately I've been paying more attention to the bidding of auctions that I've lost -- note that I am a chronic underbidder.

I've been seeing bidders with 100+ / 500+ / even 1000+ feedback with often more that 20%+ bidding activity with the seller. Any similar experiences here?

I understand that the bidding info only goes back 30 days but it still seems unusual. Are longer-term stats available?

No long term stats and ever since eBay changed it so you cant see who you are really bidding against to "research" it a little more we will never know.

Just stick to bidding what you are comfortable with and accept that shilling is happening.

    F eBay as always.

I prefer to bid with PWCC because he is like one of the ONLY sellers to list quality cards at a TRUE AUCTION (99 cents, no reserve). If you pick any random card he is selling and do a search with that one card, you will see a bunch of overpriced BIN's, and only one via auction (the one he is selling). If one was to look at my feedback, they would like I am shill bidding. That could be further from the truth. The truth is, NOONE RUNS TRUE AUCTIONS ANYMORE!!!!!! I like to get cards the same as everyone else, and it gets SOOOOO TIRING wading thru all the high priced BIN crap. If someone is only auctioning a couple of items, and has a bidder bidding a high percentage on that one seller, then I would worry. If someone is auctioning ALOT of items (over 500), and you see a high percentage, then that is cause they have good deals. 'Nuff said.

i have to say the same thing i really love to bid on PWCC items because he is a stand up seller...i once had bought for $200 a raw christy mathewson t205 and i had enough just to pay for the regular shipping and no more but i was nervouse having a $200 card sent with no confirmation or signature...i told him i was nervous about it and he sent it with signature confirmation and insured while only charging me for standard flat rate shipping..i am now a customer for life!!! and btw he has some great items for sale right now!!!

I bid on 49 of someone's auctions today, and won 7. I suppose it could look like I was shilling them too.
