Kudos to BBCE on my 1st purchase.

I ordered 1989 UD BB high box and 1983 Topps BB cello box on Friday and they arrived today.

Fast shipping considering long weekend and very secure packing and great condition boxes.

I am very pleased with my first purchase. (not counting forum rips)

I will crack open 89 UD while watching Mavs/Heat tonight.

What seems to be the holdup on ripping these packs? image
  • I always like how they are shrink wrapped with BBCE's stamp of approval on the bottom.

It's funny though, mine don't seem to stay that way very long...

Almost makes you want to keep it just like that,

I will tackle the 83 cellos this weekend.

  • Great boxes to open from a trusted Seller.

Are going to grade any of them?

Glavine, Henderson, Dawson and Molitor look nice, Ryan is nice too but has a couple of print dots on border.
I am not sure what affect that will have on the grade.

After ripping the 83 box I should have some to submit.

I haven't had any success submitting to PSA in the past but am planning to sign up again.

Nice break. I busted a box of '89 UD and while I got 4 or 5 Randy Johnsons, there were no Griffeys to be found.

I also ordered some cellos from BBCE (first time purchase). My '82, '83, '84, and '85 cellos/rack packs weren't great (Sandberg RC, but it was showing so I paid a premium for the pack), the '75 Topps had a nice Brooks Robinson and I got some stars in my '79 and '80 packs as well. Big fun too!

I just got some '72, '73, and '75 packs. Hoping for the best!

Thanks, I got no Randy Johnsons, Ripkens,Sheffield or Bonds but a lot of dupes.

Good luck on the 70's packs.

It would be pretty cool to find a Boggs showing on one of the cellos.
