    1) Gregg
    2) Santos
    3) Sanchez
    4) Melancon
    5) League
    6) Francisco
    7) Rauch
    8) Fuentes

Based on the likelyhood of keeping the job I like Gregg the most becuase of the lack of other options there
  • i second gregg, he has done pretty well this year. Too bad he couldnt do much for the cubs
  • Probably Gregg and Santos. If Salas STL is available, I'd rather have him than Sanchez STL.

    Santos and League
  • Take Santos and Francisco, but keep your eye on Toronto like a hawk. When Francisco gets hurt or demoted, you'll have to swoop in to get Rauch before anybody else. What kind of league are you in where all these guys are still available?

Agreed... I have Gregg in one league, and Uehara in the other. I'm a glutton for punishment.

Correct on the Sanchez/Salas. I confused them. Sanchez would be 7th on this list.

Gregg as noted is terrible but his save totals for the last 4 years...37, 23, 29, 32. I dont want him on my real life team but for fantasy he has plenty of value

I agree and couldn't agree more on Gregg. Anyone that has lived with him as their closer will attest to that the past few years.
The best pitch to start a hitter off with is always strike one.

ok, ok. I'll throw in Rios? No? How about Markakis? Fine Soria and Adam Dunn for Santos. Well then who do you want?

I hate this stupid effin league.

  • I know next to nothing about the National League..... but out of the American League guys, Santos and League are the ones you want.
