O/T - MASSACHUSETTS' TORNADOES

Praying for all the people who were effected by those deadly Tornadoes.

Hoping that our fellow board members (Initial D, PerkDog, RipublicaninMass, Zep33, and others) who live in MA were NOT effected.
STAY HEALTHY!

Doug

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I live in about the only place in MA that wasn't under a warning or watch last night.

Talked to my factory parts driver this morning. The tornado in Springfield was 2 streets over from his house. Part of another building's roof landed on his roof.

    That was some scary stuff

    Hope everyone else is OK

I live on the coast so all we got last night was just a heavy thunder shower. Still, I was worried about my neighbor's tree that was leaning heavily towards my house.

I'm in Newton which got a crazy lightning storm at 9 PM last night (and knocked out power, so I had to resort to a radio for periods 2 and 3 of the Bruins game). But we were lucky, compared to what hit out around the Springfield area.

Hope any of our members from that area are doing OK today....

Me and InitialD are too close to the coast for much to happen. The air doesn't heat up as quickly and with the water temp being so cool (mid 50's) it just insn't condusive for any formation to get going. In fact it didn't even rain here until after 7pm. Most of the action was over by then. Hope the guys out west like Downtown1974 came through it OK. 50-100 miles can make a world of difference in weather around here.
