I sent thes in on the 10 day special for $8 a card.

These where from the first case of 2011 Bowman that I opened. I sent them in quick to be the first to have some Harper PSA 10's. Well I got a bunch of them, and they should sell quite better than his base cards have!!! Cool. I also threw in a couple Garbage Pail Kids from the break we had about a month ago. Scored 2 10's out of 4. Not sure what happened to the 8's though.

There are alos a few other Auto PSA 10's from 2010. A few of them are Pop 1's.

Looks like some strong cards.


With so many modern cards coming straight from a pack in Gem Mint condition is there a huge premium on them relative to say a PSA 8 or PSA 9?

Seems to be quite a few BGS 9.5's showing up but no PSA yet.

I firmly believe yes, but only on stars and key rookies. Prime example. Probstein just listed for me in his store about 75 graded cards, mostly PSA10's that are modern. It's a sub category miconelegacy.

2 of them where a 2009 Upper Deck Lincecum base card and a checklist. Nothing special maybe BV of a buck or two. But they both sold fast from listing for $15 each. Yes I paid $5 to grade plus shipping, but I doubled my money, because they were 10's. 9's usually break even, 8's well you are SOL... Better to put them in a lot of other 9's and 10's of the same player.

I think it was last month or the month before I had a 2010 topps base Favre in a 10. I'd be lucky to get a buck for it on the Bay if someone was willing to pay the shipping, anyway it sold for like $30

Harper base cards are selling around $10 to $20 each right now. My guess is the 10's will sell for $40 to $60. Maybe the first few a little higher.

People want to collect 10's of their favorite player, or buy them like a stock. I do the same thing, like the 50 Adrian Gonzalez PSA10 Rc's I bought last night. I'm betting he has a great year, and I can double my investment...
