I don't see these posted yet, but if accurate...meh. Looks like I will let my membership lapse and wait until I get a special I can use to re-up.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I severely need one of the $4.50 specials right now, but will just re-up when a better deal comes along.

So, the specials are basically the same.

Instead of a 25 card min for the $8 special, now it's 20.

And instead of $6/20 card min, now it's $5.50/50 card min.

    No thanks. image

When are they ever going to do a vintage ticket special?!?!?! $30 a pop is ENTIRELY too much to grade a ticket stub!
  • I have sent like 10 submissions this year. They need to advertise a bulk submission rate. A level at 100 card minimum, another at 250, 500, 1,000 so forth and so on. Each level should drop .25 or .50.

I bet they didn't get their average of submissions last month.

I'm hoping they added Super Sized items to the $8 special.

I agree. I have 1973 kentucky derby ticket that i won on ebay a few months ago that I've been waiting to get it slabbed. I also have a signed ticket that I would like to get slabbed but it costs close to 50 bucks including shipping for just one.

kind of makes PSA look silly when the can't update their website... they need to have their web work done @ the new East Coast office.

Especially since there email from Tuesday links to the un-updated specials. The email shouldn't be beating the website like that.

Yes, it's particularly bad when a company whose business and reputation within the hobby is entirely based on attention to details is so sloppy with attention to details.

They say to email Roy for bulk subs of 500 or more. It does seem strange that there's no price break between 50 and 500 cards. I'd prefer to keep the orders in groups of 50-100 rather than send 500 and risk getting an order from hell. The savings usually aren't that great. When the normal special rate was $5, they told me it would be $4.75 for 500 cards.

I've got three subs sitting there already; I don't plan to send a lot of cards until they get caught up. Not sure what's driving these submissions. Maybe everybody is chasing those ego cards that have been discussed in other threads?

They did add Super Sized items to the $8/card, 20 card min. special.

I would like to piggyback 2 PSA/DNA cards (blue flip without auto grade) if anyone is submitting. Those are the only 2 I have but the min is 10 cards.

I would also possibly like to piggyback 3-5 super sized on the $8 special. I just bought these over the weekend so I don't have them in hand yet. Coming from Germany from a seller I have purchased from in the past.

Please PM me if you are willing to help!

Have you sent in any bulk submissions, if so what rate did you get?

Roy gave us a $4.75/card rate for a 700+ sub at the White Plains show.

Roy also gave us a discount on a PSA/DNA sub of 40+ autos.

Chances are they'll probably keep the June offerings similar to what May was. Winter is probably where you'll see the lower per card rates. Possibly even that customer appreciation rate of of $4.25 that we saw last December. But if PSA really has the volume that Roy said they do then don't hold your breath on that one.

Thought there was a group sub going on here anyways, what happened to that? >>

It's going to heat up in late July and I'm going to bring the cards in person to the PSA table at the White Plains show in August.
