<< <i>Robert you know this how?

    You have matched up certs?

I find it hard to believe.

And, even if that is true, as long as he does not link his registry from ebay, or make mention
of it on the registry (with prices and comments) what's the big deal?

I've sold plenty of cards on ebay that were still listed on the registry. They sell, I remove them.

I guess the real point I should be making is why all the jealously when it comes to this guy?

It's his prices are too high and now it's how he uses the registry.

I don't know Levi and I don't harbor any ill will toward the guy at all. My comments are general in nature.
The point I was trying to make earlier is that its odd for a large dealer to reflect their inventory in the registry. Its wierd on 2 levels - First
its extremely difficult for any private collector to compete with a business who finances their inventory with lines of credit etc. etc. The registry
is for private collections, not businesses. Second- If a business is using the registry, its very likely that they are doing so because its a cheap way
to get FREE advertising for thier business. Its already been established here that Levi uses the same name on his registry as he does for his business.
His ebay handle even matches the name of his registry. If I'm only the person that finds that troubling, so be it. I find it to be very spammish. >>

I don't see it as any big deal having cards on the registry for sale. PSA is a business, Levi has his business, and many of us here also sell baseball cards.

    It's business, not personal. image

Anyone on the registry or likewise wants to display their cards on the internet without any business interference for their personal hobby enjoyment, then just create your own website - it's simple & easy to do these days.

    Mcadams

Many people use the same name for their various online business and pleasures. His ebay name is slightly different. I have no idea if he is using inventory
in the registry, all we have is one poster who claims it. Levi is NOT the only dealer doing this. Many others
do it as well, they too are collectors AND dealers. A while back a major auction house tried to do exactly what you are
claiming and Carol immediately shut it down. Also, some members here have done the same exact thing (list a set on ebay and link the registry) and they too
were called on it. I really do not see where the beef is here.

    Good for you.
  • See as corrected below, sorry for the typo.

You do know there was only one perfect person, and look what they did to him...........

WOW, you guys gossiping about Levi. You sound like women around a sewing circle.........

In the USA all men are created equal but some are more equal than others....

I agree with Steve I don't see the problem? They own the card and the cert number so

Steve, let me take a step backwards here, he lists and sells PSA Registry sets all the time. Sometimes he has multiple Registry sets of the same issue, and the way I think he sells his registry sets (and/or individual items), is from his lower GPA multiple sets first, and then works his way up. The reason I say this is because when I see a registry set of his for sale, and he has multiple sets, its the lower graded set which is up for sale. maybe he has "lead out" with his highest GPA multiple set first, I just hadn't noticed it, with his large inventory.

But Steve he most definitely sells off his registry sets on eBay, as he has multiple registry sets listed on fee-bay, as we post here.

Once again why is this not allowed? Did you not sell your 76 Topps set on Ebay?

It took me all of 2 minutes to check his 'sets' on ebay, he has 98 sets listed.

Of the 98 listed about 6 are all PSA graded and 5 of those are obscure sets.

Things like Swift meats and patches.

The vast majority are raw sets. A few are mainly raw with a few key cards graded.

He has exactly one mainstream set listed (1936 Goudey)

    Good for you.
