Would this 1979 Topps Ozzie Smith crossover to PSA?

Obviously not my card, but the link is below. If it did crossover to a PSA 10, someone could probably make a quick 2 grand.

Appears slightly oversized and slightly miscut by whoever cut it from the sheet... Doubtful on even getting it into a slab.
  • It might get into a BGS slab, but not at the same grade.

Not sure it is a sheet cut card. It still has a very slight tilt toward the bottom left corner. I would think someone cutting the card themselves could avoid that. If not, then it begs the question of whether this Ozzie card in general had a design flaw in which the left brown border was made slightly longer than the right one - causing them all to appear diamond cut.

Well, if you have the answers, why are you asking?

The card is larger than it should be. That's a given. The card is centered incredibly for the issue. That's a given. It is not in a PSA holder. That's a given. All signs point to the same thing. But if you're convinced that it isn't sheet cut, then spend your money, send it in for review and post the results and you can call me a fool...

KSA is a mom and pap grading service. I believe he is a school teacher by day and card grader by night?
In his basement to boot and at that kind of coin I would stay very far away.. There just isn't something
right about it? Wide side borders maybe?? Top and bottom borders are thinner?

I have to agree with Scott. It looks like a sheet cut.

Highly unlikely. They tend to overgrade by at least two grade levels . . . assuming it isn't altered. If you popped $1500 for it, guaranteed you'd quickly have buyers remorse.
