What other hobby forums do you use and why?

I'm here most of the time, but also check out Net54 about once a week and read the vintage threads.

I was leery of the site at first due to the overwhelming number of modern collectors who were mainstays of the old Beckett forums, but I can say, there are a fair share of vintage collectors there now that it's grown. Also, there is much less bickering than some other places with a lot more posting.
<< <i>Here and CBT....I can be a little more inappropriate on there if the situation calls for!
What is CBT?

http://www.sportscollectors.net It's a subscription site ($14.95 per year if I remember correctly), but is great to get addesses for TTM autograph collecting, as well as to find out about signings that members or others are holding
http://texasautoclub.proboards.com/ It's a site geared toward in person autograph opportunities in Texas
http://www.net54baseball.com/ If you enjoy pre-war sportscards, then it's a great site for discussions revolving around that. Not so much for modern memoribilia or autographed cards. I visit occasionally to read some of the threads in the memoribilia section as well as to look at the classifieds.
http://www.cardboardtalk.net Forum kind of like we have here, but with less restrictive moderation. If I want to be non-politically correct, I can go there and let it out without reason. Also a good place to find several members that used to post a ton over here, but have moved over there either voluntarily or involuntarily.
Enjoy,
Mike
Trading Card Central for modern trades and buy/sell activity and the best site I've seen for group breaks.
Boxbreakers Group Breaks is a shameless plug for a great group break site although almost all Football right now.

Have you participated at Boxbreakers before? I'd love to do this if there was some baseball. Can you suggest to them what type of case or box you'd like to see featured? We have a lot of Heritage, Allen & Ginter, and Gypsy Queen modern collectors here.

For entertainment I have Zombie Squad up in running along with a couple Precious Metal forums since they all believe that our economy is crashing and burning so I get some interesting insights into what is going on.
This is really the only board I watch for cards anymore. Some of the other bigger ones had me spending too much money on cards.

Mostly set collectors/player collectors. Lots of active trading, usually modern stuff.
Great mods, good place to spend some time.
