WTB: PSA 1 - PSA 3 Centered, High Eye Appeal 1950's Mantle
It'll never happen though. A new holder would be good for the hobby, but not for PSA's bottom line.

It would be a better, latest technology holder... not a replacement to an inferior product.
And if it is a good one... how many $5 reholder's will they do in the first 2-3 years?!?!?!

<< <i>Only worried about 1 thing, MAKE MORE $$$. They are publicly traded, only the shareholders matter, not the submitters. If they can grade the same card over and over they will. Each time it means positive cashflow and that is all that matters in the end. Developing new and better holders cost $$. Won't happen! >>
Oh boy......clearly not a business major.

Don't know about the biz major thing - but I concur in one sense...
Many people think totally in terms of the product and what it means to them - I can sure understand that.
But, to think that any business entity isn't thinking about their product along with the bottom line is just not seeing the big picture.
Keep in mind - in some ways - businesses like PSA are between a rock and a hard place - i.e. - as long as people demand CHEAP sub fees - research and development winds up on the back burner IMO.
They answer to the bottom line - but more importantly - without submitters - there's no bottom line to address.
You all know how Joe Orlando is totally approachable and helps to resolve complex situations - enough said.
1983-1985 star basketball, these years contain the true rookie cards of many of the greatest nba players of all time. Most of the dream team have rookie cards from these sets. I wish psa would take the time and hire some experts to slab these. I could careless about the subsets like crunch n much ect... Just focus on the base sets from 83 to 85
1965 Lampo Cassius Clay, this is ali's first card that is not hand cut. This should be considered his true rookie card imo. I think a little more attention should be given to one of the most popular athletes of all time. I understand that every odd ball set can't be slabbed but this one deserves the attention since it contains his rookie card.
