A few randoms from a coin guy.....'53 Mantle

My buddy "Hallco" here on the boards turned cardboard freak on me so I decided to scan a couple of cards I had laying around for him. Not anything special, just a few that have special meaning for me. Scans turned out a little "washed out" it seems, to me at least. Not sure if these pics will even work.

Grading opinions welcomed as I could tell you the difference between a VG and VF Walking Liberty Half Dollar, but am really rusty on the 1-10 grade scale with cards. (there was no numerical grade scale when I stopped collecting).

I agree with Mike and Sean on the 69 Mantle, 3.5 to 4. These are tough to find centered L to R so this one is pretty good. Edges are roughed up however. A 4 should go for $70 to $90 (?) on eBay.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have some more Mickeys at the house, probably about the same maybe a little better.

Bought these probably in 1990 when ballcards were screaming hot. Probalby should have gotten rid of them soon after looking at some of the prices they're bringing now. They've been fun to look at from time to time though.

Woo hoo! He finally brought the cardboard out of the closet!! Very cool man. The 53 Mantle MUST go to PSA for grading(and authenticity!) Good stuff!
