wayne gretzky rookie hockey card came right out of the pack in 1979 and put into storage. not graded but just about mint. original card original owner. back in the day the card companies would cut the corners of a small amount of cards they do this so they dont brake easily. i have never seen a wayne gretzky card that has this done to it it is extremely rare with wich the price isnt met i wont sell.

  • Dear kodiak172,

I was wondering if you do not sell this card, would you be interested in selling it for $950?

You mentioned in your description that it was 'just about mint' and I wanted to make sure that if I send it in for grading that you would offer a refund if it did not receive a grade that includes the word mint, near mint, almost mint, maybe mint, or just about mint?

    Thank you!

This guy has the following eBay information.

    Member since: Feb-18-08
    Location: Canada

Why would someone set up an account in 2008 and not use it at all with only 2 views including mine?

Maybe he uses it for the amusement value. Not much to do in Canada other than play hockey. image

Wow, some people are incredibly stupid. Hopefully we don't have someone even dumber that bids on it.

It definitely makes for a good laugh...

  • It's even rarer that a 1979 rookie that was made in 1980-81. Wow the only thing holding me back it the top to bottom centering

Since he probably didn't get it "right out the pack" like that, I'm guessing that he's just trying to be funny.
