Honestly all I can say is that invoice looks like mine. Nothing worse than waiting six weeks for PSA to grade a submission to find out that the best grade you got from them out of 87 cards was a 6.5 on a 1993 Topps card. Sorry that happened to you. Hopefully the PSa 8's and 9's are cards for your collection and not for resale.

Some of the 72's in my set I am somewhat disappointed mostly with the 7;s those should have been 8's at least. I think in over 1000 submissions I have had maybe 1 PSA 5 so those were exceedingly disappointing. LOVE THE QUICK POPPAGE THOUGH.

Would anyone concur that graders 188 and 189 can be tough?
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

I've found that the '72 FB high numbers are prone to issues with poor gloss -- almost like a different (duller) ink was used by Topps.

It appears to be a 2-3 grade difference (hit) for these cards.

I had grader 189 on my last submission 2 months ago of 70 cards. They were mostly '78 Topps BB. Most were 8's with a handful of 9's sprinkled in. There were 4 10's, but mostly just straight up 8's. It was very much a ho-hum sub where I expected mostly 9's and didn't get it.

How do you know what the grader # that graded the cards were?

the 5's probably have wrinkles on the back or spider veins on the front that are very faint that are hit or miss with a grader as they don't look like flaws when you evaluate the card. looks more like variations in the gloss. I had a about 10 77-78 topps baseball that this happened to me on a recent 400 card sub. kind of annoying as the cards don't look like there is anything different than 9's but from an angle you can see the change in the gloss

How can anyone say what the #'s and graders have in common?....I'm seriously interested in this. Does anyone truly have knowledge of this?
