There's a great story out there similarly on Michael Cuddyer. He was doing an auto session with Killebrew and after Killebrew saw Cuddyer's autograph which was basically initials and a few lines, he said that if MC didn't sign better, he was leaving and he'd say it was because of Cuddyer. Needless to say, it worked and if you see how Cuddyer's autograph looks now, you'll see it stayed with him.

You know, I have never thought about an autograph in that light before. That is a simply story, yet profound. I would definitely want to sign legible for history's sake.

  • The more and more i hear about Mr Killebrew makes me think of what a true man the world of baseball lost. I am saddened that i never had the chance to see him play. i always knew he had great numbers and was a great player but its awsome to find out the was a great person as well.
Why do superheros only hang out in New York or L.A.? Why not Bangor??
