Need Vintage Advice

My local card shop has binders and binders of cards from the very late 50's - 1974. These were all cards from when the owner was a kid. He says he was lucky as he was very concerned with having cards in great condition, even back then. As a loyal customer, I'm getting these singles for $1 - $2 apiece, some minor stars, mostly commons, but the condition I'd say was PSA 8 or better, usually. So my question is, what "common" type cards should I be looking for? I know for example the 1964 Topps Curt Flood is technically a common, but sells extremely high on the open market and in high grade sells rediculious. Cards like that is what I'm looking for. What other ones are they for these years? I went in today to get some supplies but came out with a few goodies image

The raw cards you showed are mostly 6s.

if you don't have a scanner, use the macro setting on your camera for closeups, turn off the digital zoom (that's what created all that fuzzy noise) and take the pics in a brighter room
