MS Grade -or- MS, PL, DMPL - What Is Most Important?

This is just to illicit opinion. I know there is really no correct answer.
Obviously the most resent decision to grade the 5 ounce quarter "slugs" as MS or PL or DMPL made me think about this subject. (which by the way I think the timing sucked as they made the decision after many were already graded and shipped as just MS).
Looking at the PCGS Price Guide it doesn't appear to be any hard and fast rule about the comparitive values of sequential grades when considering the effects of MS, PL, DMPL.
If I wanted to buy a 2010 Grand Canyon 5 oz. slugs what would be better ??
Buy an MS69(MS only) or an MS68PL ????
Buy an MS69(MS only) or an MS68DMPL ????
My personal opinion is that grade should always drive the boat. PL and DMPL are totally subjective "eyeball" feelings about the coin and is determined a lot by how fast you get the coin to the PCGS grader and how it is packaged, shipped and stored.
If a DMPL becomes toned, does it become a PL or MS(only).
Would you buy an MS68PL 2010 Grand Canyon 5 oz. slugs instead of buying an MS69(MS only), if you had the money and the MS69(only) was cheaper ???

PL and DMPL are NOT totally subjective. There is objective critieria established for reflectivity.
<< <i>Here's the order I would buy (dollars permitting):
1. MS69DMPL
2. MS69PL

4. MS69

I would agree, the DMPL's should will be the rarest of the 2010's, the MS69 vs MS68PL are pretty close, the PL might win out, but that depends on the coin, all MS69 and MS68PL are not the same.
Actually not true. PL and DMPL can be measured and are more objective then the grades.
There are definitions for PL and DMPL, and are not as subjective as grades.
Whether one likes MS, PL, or DMPL best would be subjective, though.
I prefer the DMPLs best, and would say you could probably put together a really nice looking MS68DMPL set for not too much money.
