    It looks a bit like Mayor Laguardia. He was about the right height (as the Babe is towering over him), and the face and frame is similar.

    I agree, I looked up pictures of LaGuardia and it doesn't look to be the same guy.

    Definitely not Mayor Laguardia or Miller Huggins. It's not Jacob Ruppert either. Not Ed Barrow either.

    Any other ideas?

    I don't have a name for you, but this info may be of help. Ruth is wearing the road greys with Yankees across the chest that they only wore for 4 seasons from 1927-1930. This may help in that it's probably not someone from the NY area and you can narrow down the exact timeframe in which the pic was taken. Hope this helps.

    Posing with a Yankee...I think not. Maybe with Koufax, but not the Babe.

    That does help. I was pegging it around 1925 based on Babe's build but wasn't sure - and didn't bother to look up the uniform image

    I'll pass along that info, however.
