That sculpture reminds me of those tacky McCormick decanters sold in th 70's like the Elvis 25th anniversary..

This limited edition (50) sculpture by Ramon Parmenter was cast from 556 troy oz of .999 silver and sold last month. Heritage had no interest in it as a consignment ("just bullion") and basically it sold as a hunk of illiquid silver likely destined for the melting pot. Maybe the Lincoln or Borglum connection will generate enough interest to produce a premium but I'd still guess the consignor gets less than melt after commissions.

If it was one of a kind, I'd say a significant premium. However, it's one of 56. Kind of like artist's proofs or
such. Melt less fees.
