I'm sorry, but the University of Nebraska All-TIme Greatest Rookies set is an embarrassment as currently constructed. It has only 16 cards, with nothing from 1962 until 1997. Even among the recent players it misses some obvious ones.

The set makeup is the rookies of Glenn Presnell, Bernie Masterson, Don Boll, Charley Toogood, Lavern Torczson, Michael Booker, Joel Mackovicka, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Carlos Polk, Mike Minter, Dominic Raiola, Jay Foreman, Demorrio Williams, Josh BUllocks, Tommie Frazier, and Adam Carriker.

No Zach Wiegert. No Tom Rathman. No Fabian Washington. No Grant Wistrom. No Mike Croel. No Jason Peter. No Dean Steinkuhler. No Eric Crouch. No Will Shields. No Trev Alberts. No Lawrence Phillips. No Ahman Green. No Kenny Walker. No Irving Fryar. No Roger Craig. No Mike Brown. No Neil Smith. No Broderick Thomas. No Mike Rozier. No Ed Weir. No Johnny Rodgers. No Ndamokung Suh. If people were asked to name the top 10 players in Nebraska football history who went on to the NFL, there's a strong argument that the set as it's currently constructed has only 1 of them (Tommie Frazier).


For key card sets where inclusion is discretionary (all-time greatest, as opposed to award winners, yearly stat leaders, or the like), PSA should really ask openly on the boards for comments and suggestions before a set is created.
