This Registry Forum has now been in existence for awhile now, right? What is the most INSANE Thread to date? If you can remember a key word in that thread title you can even bring it back to life with a LINK.
-I'll send the best LINK provider a free coin (dated prior to 1800. Ok- it 'might' be a Gallery Mint repro- but it'll be cool!).

For some life lasts a short while, but the memories it holds last forever.

In memory of BL, SM, and KG. 16 and forever young, rest in peace.
it's like a short story that starts out bad, real bad, and then ends on a positive note.
I assume all are going to take this thread with a grain of salt. I'm sure it is offered in good spirit, and it is timed during our cease-fire, so here goes...
Here's my (no ill-will) vote.
To me, the thread accusing Rick, with the ol' "respected, prominent dealer, two page CW advertiser" veil, (only to found out the poster was wrong), was the most insane thread of late.
The subsequent statement of " I have been screwed by dealers in the past", instead of an appropriate public apology, only (im)proves the insanity, as the poster's latter two threads were long, but seemingly meaningless. I especially would like to point out that the reason this thread (the third link, from this forum) should win, hands down, is the "Thank goodness I never named the dealer..." part. Have fun.
First "Prominent Dealer screwed me" Post
Second Post
Third Post
Too many companion threads to link them, but this was the one that started it all.

Sound good? (Or, would that be offensive to the winner?)

It's a bit dissapointing to me that at a time of "total calm" around here a thread such as this needs to rekindle negativity. I know you did not intend that, but the contest could have just as easily been for the most meaningful thread this forum has ever witnessed - but that would probably be all too easy as I am not sure many threads could exceed the meaningfulness and significance of the Firefighters thread(s).
In any event, as mentioned, I would be more than happy to accept your free coin for the leasing thread should that be your vote Wondercoin.

Well, in that case, I nominate my thread I started a few days ago that lists everybody's registry set. I've got to be pretty insane to type all of that crap!
Wait, if that thread wins, wouldn't everybody who has a set listed in it be entitled to the 1796 MS65 coin? Or would I just win two of them, one for the nomination, and one for actually creating the thread?
C'mon people, let's get crackin', I've got a coin to win!!
And, if you are like I was when I went "back on the job" a few years back, you'll spend nearly every disposable cent on coins!! One of life's pleasures!! Wondercoin.
Come to papa, little contest coin!

Do we have a winner?
Mitch- I believe you started that Thread. One "Classic" 1796 'coin (cough, Gallery Mint, cough) is on it's way to you and one on it's way to HD. (-If I can't locate HD's mailing address possibly I could simply send his winning coin to you Mitch and you'de forward it on?).

Would you please send my prize directly to "Littlewitcher" from our forum and HD's prize to me so I can give it to little Justin Thanks again. Wondercoin.
