So, when is the big Moving Day for Type Registries?

And, will we need to move our own? I'd prefer if PCGS simply moved my "1959- Current" to the "1950- Current" without me having to re-enter all the insert numbers.

-I'll also be closing out my 1900- Current Registry.

I've wondered about the move date as well.

E-Mail BJ about the automatic move of your coins.

  • The last I heard, if you have a current set, you will get the set moved over automatically as follows:

Current Modern 1900-present set will be moved to the 20th Century Major Types Combined Set. E-mail BJ at bj@collectors.com to have it automatically added to the 20th Century with Variety Set. Current MS or PR Modern 1959 sets will be duplicated to the appropriate 1950-present set.

  • They must be buried with work. Last week BJ thought they would be up by Friday night. Maybe this week.

    Hi everyone,

I began working on the type sets on Friday. It's not a "zap" and it's done kind of thing because I have to create new sets and add in a slew of pcgs numbers. It will take me several days. I hope to be done by Wednesday evening. You'll see the changes happen as I go along.

Keith has it right. As I posted on the news page, email me if you want your 1900-Present set duplicated to the 20th Century with type varieties set. Also, if you want your gold data entered, please let me know. bj@collectors.com
