A couple of COA's - Legit? Scans added

My brother hit a couple of yards sales and picked up 4 autographed balls + a Munson rookie for $20/each. The lady was huge Yankees fan and looking to get rid of some stuff. Here's his description of the balls-
Reggie Jackson--The Score Board Inc. on an American League official ball
Derek Jeter--The Score Board Inc. on an official 1996 World Series ball and states that in the paper and on ball
Phil Rizzuto--Mickeys Place, Cooperstown NY, August 24, 1994 on American League Ball, auto says "Holy Cow Phil Rizzuto HOF '94"
Dave Winfield--Mickeys Place
I know I've read threads in the past questioning Score Board's authenticity. Is any of their stuff legit?
Any thoughts on Mickeys Place COA's?
I'm working on getting pics of the balls from my brother and a scan of the Munson. Thanks.

So if it has a scoreboard COA it isn't necessarily fake but the COA is worthless as an indicator of authenticity. It should be noted that Scoreboard Inc. has long been out of business so even if the autograph was fake, there is no legal obligation to replace it.
On a side note, Mickey's place is a fantastic store with a great reputation.

<< <i>The problem with scoreboard COAs is that it started as a legitimate business and then everyone started making copies of their COAs. They have no hologram, serial number or even name on most of their COAs so people would make copies or they would replace it with a PSA/DNA LOA and use the scoreboard COA on a forgery to make a profit.

I've actually seen some fake Ripken autographs with Mickey's Place COA's so I would proceed accordingly

<< <i>i would say fail on the jeter and jackson, i can't comment on the winfield... at least a brand new baseball retails for about $20 so you could always use them in a homerun derby. >>
Agree on Jeter and Jackson. Can't say I like the Winfield either.
