Off topic: Jason Kubel or Matt Joyce?

Who'd you rather start a business with? Janet Reno after a safari or Quagmire?

Seriously, please forgive the Spam. I'm absolutely dying offensively in my league. Crawford, Markakis, and Rios in the OF and Cuddyer/Loney at DH until Josh Hamilton gets back. We're allowed 5 total free agent pick ups and I've used 3 on Beachy, Gomes (I know, I know), and Maicier Izturis. With 2 left, I need some offense. Can I get some insight here?

I originally had Sam Fuld on both of my fantasy teams. When Fuld started to fold , Matt Joyce looked real good. It was a VERY good choice on my part.

He went 0/3 today against my O's , but I sure hope tommorrow is a better day. ---- Sonny

Joyce currently has a .414 BABIP so a 3 for 34 streak is coming soon. His BABIP last year was .273 and has a career .302 BABIP. The power is probably legit but he's likely already banked his best production for the season.

Can't believe you only get 5 moves for the year! I would go crazy! I used to make so many moves my league put a new restriction on it last year to 66. I have already burned a third of them!

I would go with Joyce btw.

The limit of 5 is to the number of undrafted free agents. I can make unlimited moves on guys who've been dropped. So being in last place, I can select:

Ryan Franklin
Carlos Ruiz
Rod Barajas
Ryan Ludwick
Randy Wells
Mike Pelfrey

and a host of other discarded mutts at my discretion. Someone did drop Farnsworth so I selected him and dropped James Loney.

Thanks for the tips on Joyce. With Jared Weaver, Josh Johnson, and Jon Danks not doing much the last couple weeks, I am in serious trouble but remained unbowed.

depends on your need, but Ludwick and Ruiz are the two best...

I absolutely feel your pain....

3of my top 6 picks this year in fantasy baseball... Joe Mauer, Carl Crawford, Chris Carpenter.... worst season I've ever had and first time in a years I likely won't be in the top 4 in my 12 man league...


I also was fortunate enough to own Pablo Sandoval, Ian Stewart, Torii Hunter, and Chone Figgins...


I'm officially in put me out of my misery mode....
