mounting a small cut auto prior to slabbing

I have a 1x3.5" cut autograph I want to slab. Idont want to slab as is, since loose cuts look like crap in slabs. Cant decide if i want to use archival glue to mount it to a standard note card or mount it to the standard note card with white photo corners. Most cuts like this tend to be glue mounted, but i was thinking it may look neater mounted with the corners. And no, i dont want to have a custom cut card made out of it. thoughts?
Looking to have some custom cuts or plain custom cards built? PM me.

  • I had a similar auto it was of Unitas, it looked pretty decent on a note card, but that was about as good as it was gonna look (Signature was completely cut and put on the note card with no space on either side)

I would mount it on a small manila or gray piece of cardboard. The type you see this time of year in graduation cards. and have it put into a frame underneath his pic with maybe a small placard with his name and stats on it.

    Something like this........................
