Kind of a fizzle, but no complaints...the mays auto made it worthwhile for sure. Phase two coming up next weekend. Let me know if you guys need anything.
thanks for watching, my first public rips, and quite fun to share it all.

great breaks...I think you reminded us all how great heritage used to be. Let the trading begin!
  • parkerjparkerj Posts: 1,098 ✭✭✭
yes, let the trading begin! I have about 5000 short prints, 3500 inserts, and maybe 1000 chromes all for trade or sale.

While i don't really care for the whining about how watered down Heritage has become, it's hard not to look at this thread and have it slap you in the face. I opened a box of 01 last week and while I didn't get anything earth shattering, it was still better than any break I've had in the last 4 years of Heritage. I miss being excited about opening a box of Heritage.

Did an 01 box really just go for 177? I would buy 5 at that price.

Congrats on the Mays! Is there a problem with that upper corner, or was that just the way the card scanned?
    Who is Rober Maris?

The scan looks much worse...the card in person is pretty sharp!

Especially when they can do a set like Gypsy Queen with on card autos of tons of stars and HOF's, 2 autos and GU per box.

Wouldn't you pay more for Heritage if guranteed at least one auto?
Currently completing the following registry sets: Cardinal HOF's, 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, Bill Mazeroski Master & Basic Sets, Roberto Clemente Master & Basic Sets, Willie Stargell Master & Basic Sets and Terry Bradshaw Basic Set

sure would...everyone would....and even if they put in more topps team legends type oncard autos, it would still be more fun, ink is fun regardless.
  • WaltWalt Posts: 1,275 ✭✭✭
I wish it was all about the ink, actually the checklist was much better this year than previous years, but pulling 1 auto per case is just laughable...well I guess
to people who don't open heritage, we can't really sit here and complain. Next year I will just buy the autos I want, but let us not forget about topps screwing
us on the chrome set also, taking out all the star cards to put in a future release!

  • parkerjparkerj Posts: 1,098 ✭✭✭
Me too! but the boxes were cheap, so oh well, not every box can be a mays auto!....which is now on its way to joeC.

    Fun stuff Jim.

I am heading to the tristar show in SF tomorrow and am hoping to find some older Heritage wax. This was a great reminder
