I am guessing PSA or BBCE won't be there
I am going Sat. for sure and maybe Sun depending on how Sat. goes.
Anyone ever go to Inside Pitch shows?
I am guess there will be like the usual. I will report back since I will be going on Sat.

Have you been to these inside pitch shows before?
I spent over $1,000 last time I went. Noone takes credit card, so you have to have the cash handy (maybe get some money out today and some tomorrow). I got a GREAT deal on a couple of 1961 Fleer Basketballs. There was another guy selling his father-in-laws collection. Got some stuff from him as well. Your typical fare I guess. Alot of dealers were overpriced.
Bobby if you want to meet up let me know.
I was really impressed with one dealer there, his name is Greg Dragos and he had an amazing array of vintage, mostly raw, VERY high grade stuff with amazingly affordable prices. All-in-all, I was pleased...dropped about a grand and had a really good time.
I had to rifle through a LOT of junk cards just to find those. Looked at 3 1993 SP Jeter rookies. 1 guy had 2. 1 was EX $70 the other was awesome other then the finger prints all over the card. The corners were sharp definitely a PSA 9 if the card didn't have finger prints on it. The guy wanted $90 and I wanted to buy it. The only thing held me back was the finger prints. If I knew I could clean them off w/o scratching the card I would have walked out with it. It was the sharpest corners I have seen on a raw version in a long time. Shame someone fingered it all up.
There was a some vintage but most of it was over priced. There was one guy someone previously mentioned Greg Dragos. He had a great selection of raw high end vintage. As stated his prices were very reasonable. I am not really a vintage guy so I didn't buy anything in fear of recoloring or trimming. He had a really nice 52 Robinson rookie L/R centering was awesome but T/B was OC. Card had sharp corners and edges too!.
Another dealer had a nicely centered 1941 PB DiMaggio that would have graded a PSA 2 at best because the card had no corners at all and wicked edge dings. Was wickedly over priced @ 3.5K so I passed.
All in all it was a great time. IMO it was just as good or the same as the Philly show I had been to a last year. Only bummer was PSA and BBCE wasn't there. Maybe next time they will be there (fingers crossed). I am seriously thinking about having a table at the next show. Just to get rid of all the stuff I don't want.
Sorry I missed you Bobby. Maybe next time.
<< <i>Greg Dragos >>
That was his name!!! He had some nice raw vintage, commons and stars....he is who I bought the Paige from. He had a jewelers loupe on his head. He also had that fake Jordan rookie.......
<< <i>I am there...in the Ted Williams shirt.....did you see the fake Jordan rookie in the SGC 9 case yet?? >>
Was the card being sold as the real deal or just displayed as an SGC mistake?
aconte
Here is a few I picked up at the show.
The 1993 select has a shot at a psa 10!
White specs are my dirty scan not on the cards...
All in all, it was a good time had by all!
