O'CONNELLAND SON pete rose cards?

Hi,I am new to this site, I have a question about 1984-90 O'Connell and son baseball card. There's not alot graded in the pop report, is it because of them being scarce or not worth grading? I appreciate any info on these cards, i have all 5 roses but don't know if they are worth grading? thanks Scott

If they're for your personal collection, I say they're definitely worth grading.

I have the Thomas in my collection, a gift from T.S.; otherwise, it's just too difficult to locate.

    Hello Scott,

Welcome to the boards. Sorry I can't speak to your question as I only collect vintage, but I'm sure some other member will chime in as well and give you their thoughts.

What types of cards do you collect? Always great to hear what other people like to collect.

    Take care.

    Hi Scott...

    image to the boards.

I don't believe these are extremely rare as cards go. They are just hard to find because most reside in common boxes with other obscure cards that a dealer may have and not really know what they are, so they are mixed in with other odds and ends. I found most of mine going through common boxes and the rest on eBay.

There is actually a 6th Pete Rose card that I had back when I collected Pete Rose. The card is a large 4-3/4"x6-1/4". I don't have it any more, sold it with the rest of the Rose collection, but here is a scan of one from the Rose Master Registry set. Hope Registry person does not mind me showing it. I believe it is limited to 2,000 cards.

    Good luck with your collection...Donato
