RIP Ron Springs

Back in the late 70's, Springs was one of the Big Ten's top backs while with Ohio State. He had a number of solid seasons with the Cowboys (never a star, but always dependable) and is the father of Pro Bowl defensive back Shawn Springs. He was in poor health for many years with complications from diabetes, and was in a coma for some time before passing away on Thursday. Rest in peace Ron.
