I actually think the Sharks will pull it out tonight, but the Red Wings don't quit.

Unfortunately, my Rangers are out working on their golf game. image

    We're gonna rock it tonight!
    They're gonna get it tonight,
    They began it,
    They began it,
    They began it.
We'll stop 'em once and for all.
The Sharks are gonna have their way,
The Sharks are gonna have their day,
    We're gonna rock it tonight.
    Tonight!

Having been a Sharks fan since the beginning gotta say I'm more relieved than anything else.

cpamike, you pre-analyzed the game perfectly!
  • San Jose was the better team. I stayed up (11:43pm is when the game ended) hoping Detroit would tie it and send it to overtime, but it wasn't to be.

Zetterberg's giveaway in the first period was very costly.

Still, I'm very proud to be a Wings fan. An amazing effort and probably one of the best 7-game series in a long time.

Wings are THEE class organization in the NHL, but San Jose deserved to win.

Amazing series. I give the Sharks credit - they buried alot of demons with tonight's win.

Great great series. The most electricity I have seen in the Detroit area around a second round series since the Wings broke their Cup drought in 96/97. Overall, one of the best set of 1st and 2nd round playoff series I can remember.

    Congrats to the Sharks.

Too bad I don't gamble. It's against my nature as a CPA. image

It is so hard to win 4 in a row after being in a 0-3 hole and I thought San Jose had finally learned how it bear down after experiencing so many letdowns. Looking forward to more great playoff hockey.

Even as I watched the handshakes, I wasn't convinced that the Wings didn't have yet one more rush in them!

    The series was spectacular!
