Got some really nice results here. No idea how the 1985 Donruss got the grade it did but o'well.

I am really excited about these results. The Jimmy Valiant PSA 10 is a huge score for me and so is the Killer Kahn PSA 9.

I am super pumped about the Kerry Von Erich PSA 9 as I paid big bucks for that raw and was rewarded! The Jesse Ventura PSA 9 is a killer card and the Don Muraco PSA 10 was a huge bonus.

The Carnation cards were just a little off centered so no surpise with the PSA 8's and those are very nice grades for that series of cards.

All in all awesome results!!!

The Puckett has been selling for close to $400 on EBAY lately.

Going to hold this one for a while, rare 80's baseball I think is going up near term.

Hey, I wish you all the luck. Although there is one on eBay that shows a Best Offer for $460.00, all of the other 20+ that sold in the past year went for under $300.00.

Since you are keeping it, it does not matter. Enjoy!

I may sell it at some point.

What is wild is this card had sat in a big scew down holder in a penny sleave for 12 years on various display shelfs. I just on a whim said I might as well send it in and see how it grades becuase I did not have enough wrestling cards that would grade strong enough to get to 15 cards.

I will hold for a while and see what the market does and then make a decision.

The card that I am most excited about is the Jimmy Valiant PSA 10. This card you can barely find in NM-MT. This will stay a pop 1 for sure.

The lesson from this sub is if you buy a BGS card that looks really sweet, crack it out!

I have the BGS crack out down to a science at this point. Take the wire cutters right in the middle and get them as far as you can go. Crack and the holder will split all the way to the bottom and you pull apart. The sleave will protect the card from damage when you do this.

Didn't you show a 1980 Topps Rickey Henderson on here that you were going to include in this sub....or did you decide not to submit that one?

There was not any positive feedback on that card. There was a member who called my PSA 10 Puckett.

I still have all of the cards and took other people's advice. The 1986 Topps Tiffany Barry Bonds looked good to me and a member pointed out a top to bottom off centering which after closer examination I saw.

Many were very helpfull in their assements and I was pleased to get good feedback from others. There are some collectors on here with sharp eye's for cards.

Sweet Puckett...and a kamala the ugandan giant sighting is always good for the spirits. Haven't thought of that guy forever!
BTW - I have had PSA hammer some modern stuff lately - gotten like 6-8 psa 9's into bgs 9.5 cases on the first try, and in one case a psa 8 into a 9.5 (of course it was absolutely G.O.D. treatment getting an 8 in the first place).
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

1984 Fleer Update Kirby Puckett PSA 10 Gem Mint, what a pleasant surprise, considering putting it on EBAY

    image

1986 Carnation Major League Wrestling Kamala PSA 8, really tough card even in an 8

    image

1982 Wrestling All Stars Kerry Von Erich PSA 9 Mint, one of my favorite cards and a pop 2, I own both

    image

1982 Wrestling All Stars Jesse Ventura PSA 9, really sweet example of this killer card

    image

1982 Wrestling All Stars Jimmy Valiant PSA 10 Gem Mint, this is one of my best cards from all three sets, this is tough in a PSA 8 and trust me the odds of another surfacing are extremely low!

    image

1986 Carnation Major League Wrestling Ric Flair PSA 8, this card if it ever surfaces in PSA 9 or 10 will bring big money, a very classic picture of the Nature Boy and this card is extremely scarce in any condition

    image

1982 Wrestling All Stars Killer Kahn PSA 9 Mint, this is super tough and a Pop 1, like the Valiant it is always cut off centered and this one has razor sharp corners so it made it in a PSA 9, very good centering for this card as well

    image

1982 Wrestling All Stars Don Muraco PSA 10 Gem Mint, total blazer and now a Pop 2, I subbed the first one as well and still own it

There were some other nice cards in the sub but these are the highlights.

ok, that Kirby is sweet, but the Kamala is from another dimension. image

The first scan did not do Kamala justice. I am not used to having many cards that move around in the holder. The Wrestling All Stars have some kind of wrap on them and they don't budge.

that's just too cool. i bet if they'd asked Major League Baseball players to dress up like that, they would have sold a lot more cards. image

Great posting. Sadly, however, I think poor Kirby was larger than Kamala at the end...
