New My eBay Features Make Shopping and Selling on eBay Even Easier!
New features now available in My eBay help you manage your purchase history, payment and shipping activity, and watched items more easily. Now you can:
See up to 3 years worth of purchases. Whether you need to keep an eye on domestic and international purchases (which can take time to arrive), identify sellers you want to buy from again, or retrieve information for tax purposes, you can now see ALL your purchases on eBay.com going back three years. To view, click “Purchase History” on the left in My eBay and select the purchase history period.
Get improved payment and shipping reminders. If you’ve yet to pay for an item you’ve won, you’ll see a reminder that identifies purchases not yet paid for. If you’re selling an item, you’ll be alerted when your buyer’s payment has cleared, so you can go ahead and ship their purchase. Both types of reminders show a picture of the item in My eBay.
Sort lists by most-recently added. If you like creating lists in My eBay (such as a “Watched Items” list or a “Shoes” list), you now can sort them by most-recently added within “Watch List & Other Lists” in My eBay. It’s the easy way to view and compare your latest finds!
Note: The modules for Unsold, Sold, and Active selling items have been removed from the Summary page. This information is still available under the Selling menu or in Selling Manager.
Did they do anything other than move "Won" to "Purchase History?"
If not, I say bravo to ebay. I have been waiting for them to put a more detailed purchase history in for a while now. It helps enormously with record keeping. Over the past couple years I have kept pretty detailed records of buying and selling but I have some items that were purchased before I started keeping track which have fell through the cracks, now I can update my records accordingly. Thanks ebay for getting something right.
Not sure what all the changes are, the Purchase History thing has been coming and going in My E-Bay for a couple of months, in reality it is going to be benefit to me because since I am going to have to deal with Paypal Reporting/IRS this year, I had no way to Clarify/Justify what I had paid for something I bought 1-3 years ago and just sold this year, IE "Static Inventory". I will have to sit down, define a Dollar Threshold, (Perhaps $25-50 Single item Sale), and then look at all Sales and keep a record of what I actually have into something I sold so I can deduct past year Expenditures from Current year Sales if it is the Same Item!
I don't see a problem with it! What is the issue?
Neil
Actually Collect Non Sport, but am just so full of myself I post all over the place !!!!!!!
I liked the old way in which one could delete the item after it was paid for and received - sort of a way to handle completed transactions. I am not a fan of the new screen. Am I missing something or is there a way to remove previously purchased items that have been received.

Being able to see your last 3 yrs of purchases is really cool. Very interesting to see what you paid for items back then.

I have had 7 shades of poop beat out of me by the wife she just went back 3 years and checked!!!!!! Thanks e-bay a divorce now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just ask her how much she's spent on shoes and handbags during that time...and that PSA graded cards can be sold in many cases for a higher price than you bought it while no one wants a used pair of red pumps..

grote, I couldn't agree with you more! A couple of years ago, we had an emergency that required a couple grand, and I just sold some stuff on ebay and I had the money in just a few days. That ended those comments really quickly. How awesome is it to be able to purchase something, have fun with it, and then sell it and possibly even make money?

Assuming you sell stuff, remind her that there's no way to tell how much you sold that paid for all those items.

At least you are still alive. If my wife finds out about this feature , well it was nice knowing you all. And no, I don't sell anything on eBay so that excuse is null and void. The shoes and jewelry agrument may work for some, but I've been a buying machine the last couple of years.
On the bright side, you will see a lot of very nice vintage unopened packs listed on eBay real soon after the estate lawyers get done.

I give ebay over 100K annually in fees and I still can't keyword search on items won... oh well... thankfully gmail works like a database and is extremely helpful is keeping track of purchases...
I had to log on here to find out how to find the items I've won on eBay. I think that says there's a problem with how easy it is and how poorly eBay communicates their changes.

I like being able to see my last 3 years of purchases.
BUT, I wish I could just keep track of my current purchases in a different list. They need to have two lists, one to delete what you've received, and a permanent list. That would be nice.

I'm sure there's a "because you asked for it" buried somewhere in ebay's explanation of this
I usually don't care what they do, but this time they have
messed up my whole system.
EBAY should FIRE the creatures that think of NOTHING but
making changes to justify their paychecks.
When is the last time one of their "changes" made ANYTHING
better? I think the answer is NEVER.
