I mentioned these a while back about them over seas and was wondering when they would show in the US, well here is one.GOLD ATM. I wonder what mark up they are charging. Anyone here in Vegas that could go to the Golden Nugett to check it out and let us know.

Morgantype wrote a report a while back. You can find it at the address below (cannot link it with my iphone).
The mark up is higher than the usual distribution channels, though you get the fancy box! image

If the mark up is reasonable, Americans would be better served buying gold

then throwing money on nonsense. Smart people in Europe have been using gold

as a protection against the unknown terrors for centuries.

I had not seen his link, I thought it was pretty cool actually seeing a pic of the machine. I think the silver would do great at a Walmart, I wonder if you can link the machines on a wireless network to update the prices, with actual spot changes.

Consider the premiums over melt that they charge, you can do better elsewhere.

smash and grab thefts will probably be on the rise.

I bet these vending machine are build like vaults and I bet they are located in very public areas with security cameras and alarm systems.

I wonder how many, if any, machines are now located in the US, since this machine was installed in 2010.
