it's interesting but since it's .900 fine it loses some of it's luster...

What would a typical B & M offer for a coin like this?

    If I was still working in the store, we would offer 95% of melt.

    ,900 is still nice an shiney, bullion is bullion in my book. As a collector/stacker I try to buy the world gold at or very near melt. On high grade things like Sovereigns and French/Swiss 20 francs I go up to 10% over bullion price. On unusual things like the link I would expect a B&M to pay under melt.

    That's interesting. I wasn't aware they had a Gold Coin. I lived there for a while back in the late 70's when Cordobas took a beating against the Dollar, would loved to have been paid in gold instead of Cordobas.
