Considering the avatar...the is NOT an objective statement!
there's one substantial difference between Mike and Kobe.
when Mike was winning, a helluva lot more people were captivated by the compulsion of watching basketball.
nowadays, most basketball fans are captivated by Twitter.
thanks for trying Chaz, but it's not even an arguement.
Very embarrassing for a Lakers fan.

So, you are saying MJ captivated audiences and Kobe is less interesting than Twitter?

Kobe doesn't come close to Jordan? LMAO, the last I checked Kobe has 5 rings, 7 Finals, and an Olympic Gold medal is not far away from Jordan's achievements. U have a right to your opinion, but u should state a realistic opinion.
I'm not a person who is a fan of ever saying someone is better than someone else. Really hard to say who is better when two different players who played during different years.
One thing I can say for sure is Jordan was incredible and should be always considered one of the greatest athletes ever....Anyone that can win 6 championships, 2 3 peats at a time, including a personal break to come back and still win his second 3 peat, is quite incredible. Who knows, Jordan most probably gets a 4 peat if he didn't leave after his first 3 peat.
History was against the Lakers this year as they were coming off 3 straight finals. I don't believe any modern team has won a fourth in a row. And please Celtics fans don't tell me your Celtics ever won 4 in the modern era, cause the 60's is not modern NBA.

let me ask you this: if you had to be locked in a room for 24 hours and your only choice was to watch endless reels of Mike's greatest games or Kobe's greatest games, which would you choose?
"Kobe will never come close to Jordan." Really!? I am no Kobe fan but I would say he is pretty darn close right now. What would Jordan have won? It doesn't matter. What might Kobe win in the future? At this point it doesn't matter. It's impossible to know what Jordan "would have" done or what Kobe "might do" in the future. To say they aren't even close is just sillyness. I like Jordan better because Kobe seems like a punk and Colorado still nags at me. However, to say the aren't close is way off base. What if Kobe wins the next 5 championships? Will Jordan still "always be the BEST that ever played!?" Get serious.
<< <i>im lovin it i hate the lakers >>
I wouldn't expect anything less from a Yankees fan. BTW, how is the Knicks and Nets doing these days? LOL

B- if the Nets and Knicks were winning, he wouldn't have even wasted his time posting about the lakers, but like most NBA New York fans these days, they need to take out there fustration on others, kinda like getting a Dog (Lakers) when they are down.
