That is awesome. What great centering! Great value, when considering what a solid 9 would cost.

Edit: It slaughters the few 8s I saw at a show today. Really looks like a 9 compared to the 8s I saw.

Sweet Card! A 1978 Rose was my first card I ever got. A kid at school gave it to me in the 6th grade. Wish I still had it.

I have to agree with everyone else.....that is one beautiful Rose. Do you think the L to R centering kept it out of a 9 holder?

    That is awesome!!!!

Lots of PSA 8's running around but a PSA 8.5 is really sweet!!!

    Nice work!!

  • << <i>Do you think the L to R centering kept it out of a 9 holder? >>

My guess is the business going on with the top left edge/corner is what kept it out of a 9 holder.
Absolutely stunning card, though. That would be a centerpiece of most any collection!

This bad boy is a touch off centered with razor sharp corners and edges. That is why it is not in a PSA 9 holder.

Big time card you got here!!!

Don't know what happened on my last reply. What I meant to say was it means a lot to me to get the nice comments from you guys. I also meant to say that if I go ahead and flip the card, that I do not think I would be able to replace it. Thanks again.
