    Sounds about right. Live American Eagles are very tight right now, but the Mint is still producing them and the AP's know that they will get more eventually.

    Remember: Spot is paper price. Physical price adjustment (premium paid) will be small fabrication charge plus how much the market (buyers) thinks spot price is out of whack with reality.

    What is interesting is how we saw the premium increase as the spot price increased and yet it still increases as the spot price decreases.
