1948 and 1949 Leaf football virtual uncut sheets

I recently added more virtual uncut sheets to my football card gallery:

1949 Leaf
1948 Leaf

I have not actually seen a 1948 Leaf sheet, but it appears to me that Leaf modified a 1948 sheet to get the 1949 sheet, so I sort of did some reverse engineering. See what you think.

Your reverse engineering of the 1948 sheet seems right on. So many Nomellinis and Bednariks are mis-cut and badly off center. Having them in the position to the far right of the sheet makes sense as to why this is happening. Tony

The 1st 7 and the last 7 of the High Series are notorious for being OC or MC. Being on the far right and far left columns of the sheet is the only rational explanation. I still wonder if they run L/R or R/L. All of my miscuts that afford me the opportunity to identify adjoining cards are T/B. I'll have to be on the lookout for something that has the card adjoining on the side...

As always, a super job, Mike!

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Definitely, Scott, if you come across a left-right miscut card, I'd love to see it.

As this card demonstrates, the 7x7 layout is correct when run backward, Lujack is Connor and vice versa...

See if I follow, Scott. The sheet that the Lujack/Connor card came from was run through a press in one direction for the yellow and red ink, then turned 180 degrees and run through for the blue?
