Due to the fall in Silver prices? I have
I had a Hockey Puck sell April 30th. Until this afternoon no word from the buyer until I get this message via eBay:
"I have been financially devastated by the collapse of silver prices the last week. I would like to cancel this order which would avoid a return later. Thank you for your understanding and I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience."
I have of course blocked the guy from future transactions with me.

Nope... but I am waiting on about 5 feedbacks from people who, by the time they got their silver were down dramatically.
I did sell $25 in mercury dimes to a guy on Sunday. On Sunday I thought he got them for too little...
By the time he paid on Wednesday I thought for sure he was going to try to get out of it. Happily, he honored his bid.
Now only $80 bucks with today's rise.
In other words, the buyer should have paid.
Tell the buyer you understand and if they could please cancel the transaction (after you request to cancel it through eBay) that you would be glad to cancel the transaction. This typically works better because the buyer, who is backing out of a legit transaction because he's losing money, thinks they got the jump on you. When in reality, you know the truth and just want your fee's waived and are humoring said scumbag buyer.
I bought gold last week at 1530. By the time it was time to pay, I knew it was heading down, I knew the risk, and I met my promise. People like GrandAm's buyer suck, and ebay protects them.
