At the Central States show I saw several dealers with copper bars and rounds, I have never seen them before, are these new?

What are the buyers doing with them? I'm assuming these are being sold for novalty reasons.

They are very neat looking, but most are grossly overpriced.

    EBAY Copper Bullion

They can be bought wholesale - outside of EBAY - but the
    prices are still goofy.

They must be novelty items. I can't believe they are serious investment purchases.

Provident sells them as an "alternative" to gold & silver???

    Copper Bullion

    Pretty steep markup.

  • Where does one buy "bulk" American Copper Eagles? I've searched, just for chit's 'n giggles, but have been pretty much unsuccessful.

I got a copper bar a few years back to use as a paperweight

Funny to see this thread today, at our state club show today a dealer had these in his case. First time I had seen them. Kind of neat but you can't call it a bullion purchase as the items were priced nowhere near copper melt.
