What do you do to move unauthenticated autographs?

My friend with the Mantle cards that he sold me also has these unauthenticated autographed photos that he acquired 15-20 years ago:

Mantle (2) and Joe DiMaggio/Ted Williams and 500 HR picture

I have several Mantles, Williams, and DiMaggios myself that I acquired 20+ years ago.

What does a guy do with these to move them at a decent price? Can you send them to an auction house and let them send them back if they believe they are no good?

Edited because when I first opened this thread it was blank. Only saw the title.

Just cost too much to get THE MICK authenticated ... $100.00. Maybe it would be worth it when they run a special? Not too sure how cheaply you could get them done. If you want to get them all authenticated, why not call up and see if you can get a special price? It may be worth the call.

They are all photos that he purchased or were given to him 15-20 years ago. Same for my autographed photos. No provenance. (Also, I have read Operation Bullpen.)

I think there are a few guys on this board who are real familiar with THE MICKS auto. Maybe scan and post a few to get their opinion before sending in for authentication. (IF you decide to send them in.)
