<< <i>probably says more about the state of the White Sox given Liriano's 6 walks against only 2 K's. >>
I was going to say...if there was ever an argument for Moneyball's "once a ball is put in play, only chance decides if it's a hit or an out" theory - this is it. 6BB and 2K? A no hitter is a no hitter and they're all lucky to a degree...but come on.

However, when Mario Impemba (Tigers play-by-play guy) tipped off viewers that Liriano had a no-hitter after seven innings, I flipped right to the game. Sounds like a pretty sloppy effort with all the walks, but I was definitely rooting for him. It's just too cool to NOT root for it.
Congratulations to FL and the Twinkies
