Skyman ; I will always be indebted to you

Skyman has , after weeks of negotiations , allowed me to purchase the Franklin Half Dollar of my dreams .

Very few times in my life have I held an example of a Mint Set Franklin that is such a joy to behold , let alone own .

It is so rewarding , so gratifying , and so downright humbling to be able to posses a coin that is the pinnacle of a near life long search for the most beautiful Franklins on earth .

I can never repay him for such a gift , but I want you all to know , on my 55th birthday ..........,just days ago , the day I retired from a long career with AT&T -

he helped make it one of the happiest days of my life !

PP, my pleasure, but you already have prettier coins in your collection. Enjoy it, and life in general, in good health.

Sy is a stand up guy, although I've never met him personally. Just the occasional chat about toners, which is both of our passions.

I think Sy finally gave into the constant nagging and nit picking you were doing. image

A picture would help gratify this moment.

ok, I figured it was you that bought that coin. As Sy said he had worked out a deal with someone to purchase it earlier.

I think the toning is amazing and one of the best I have seen for the date!
