Very close, but far away. What is interesting is that Bradley is from Reading, PA (where I live) and he pitched in the city that pertains to the question during his career.

Very good. It is obscure and nothing says that it is only one pitcher...........................

Question: When were you born, Doug?

NOT when George Bradley was pitching for the Cleveland Blues! LOL

    1958

Edited to add: I THOUGHT that it may have been an entire teams pitching record from the 1800s, but just hard to find that answer! LOL

So we are talking about current stats ... within the past 28 years and it happened in either:

    St. Louis
    Chicago
    Detroit
    Cleveland
    Philadelphia
    Cincinnati OR
    Baltimore

Not sure where your math is coming from (it's not identified the correct era), but the city is correct.

I ASSUMED you were younger than me ... Is that incorrect?

You threw me off on one thing you said ... "It was not accomplished within a quarter of a century of you birth year, but it was of mine!" It was accomplished 16 years after my birth!

Being a NY fan, I'll take 'Ole Casey. Thanks very much for the quiz.

This was probably the biggest hint:

"Very close, but far away. What is interesting is that Bradley is from Reading, PA (where I live) and he pitched in the city that pertains to the question during his career."

That's what I was looking at after I found out there is NO PITCHER with those career stats. Then John made reference to a time frame.
